Atty. Pacifico M. DeCapua is a lifelong resident of the Town of Milford. He graduated
in 1952 from the former St. Mary's High School in Milford. In 1956, Atty. DeCapua
graduated, with honors, from the School of Arts and Sciences at Boston College in Chestnut
Hill, MA. In 1959, Atty. DeCapua received a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University
Law Center in Washington, D.C. Upon graduating from Law School, he passed the
Massachusetts Bar Exam in 1960. Atty. DeCapua opened his office in 1960 at 260 Main
Street, Milford, MA. Immediately thereafter, his practice of law was interrupted for
service for active duty in the Air National Guard and he earned the rank of 1st
Lieutenant. He served 1 year active duty in Germany during the Berlin crisis. Atty.
DeCapua also served as an Assistant Judge Advocate General (JAG) during an assignment to
Biloxi, Mississippi. He was appointed Town Counsel in Milford and Uxbridge. He was elected
and served as a member of the Milford School Committee for 11 years. He was a moving force
in the Milford High School Building Committee. He is and has been a member of numerous
local and civic organizations, including the Milford Legion Club Board of Directors, the
Italian American Veterans, the Hoboken Citizens Club, the Foggiano Club, the Milford
Quincentennial Celebration Discovery, the Milford Water Study, the Milford Golf Course
Study Committee, the Milford Lions Club and he is a former Town Meeting Member. Atty.
DeCapua is also an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. On January 3rd,
1978, Atty. DeCapua brought his practice to the Jefferson Building, the site of its
present location. For the more than 39 years that Atty. DeCapua has practiced law, he has
founded an abiding reputation for being an advocate of his clients -- a trademark that he
demands in his office. He has had extensive trial and jury experience in the District
Court, Superior Court, and Probate and Family Court in Massachusetts.
